Akamas safari: gorges, turtles and a shipwreck
About the tour
Join us for a day in Cyprus’s wild west. In a small minibus we drive from Paphos out to the Akamas Peninsula, where you can walk through the narrow limestone Avakas Gorge, swim at peaceful Lara Beach, where sea turtles lay their eggs, and see some of the finest viewpoints along the coast.
The trip suits most people: the walk is easy to moderate and entirely optional, and the route avoids rough dirt tracks.
